Southern Cal has never had a shortage of talented photographers. However, finding a photographer who truly understands the art of professional headshots and works almost exclusively in this segment of photography is hard to find anywhere.

I don’t photograph weddings. No maternity sessions. Working in family portraits isn’t my gig either (although fun sometimes). But if you need lifestyle photography, editorial work (anything you’ve seen in a magazine or cover story), team imagery (large and small), and especially professional or corporate business headshots, you came to the right place!

The level of training is also very low. The level of professionalism an systems is also very low. The ego is high though…very high in this industry. Fun fact: 1 in 100 ‘photographers’ have had any real training, worked with an apprentice, worked directly for a larger brand, etc., yet many people don’t know the difference and later on pay the price when they don’t really like their images, communication was spotty or low, and there was not system to rely on.

Yes, I’ve been the kid with a nice new camera, great lights and access to top end editing tools. But that didn’t make me a pro. After 2-3 years, I was still learning my craft, but learning from amazing photographers and taking feedback often, always improving. Aka, I’ve been there.
